Hi Reader,
I've been busy this past month working on a special project: Migrating my own bookkeeping from QBO to Count. I wanted to try it out because I'm often asked where new businesses should sign up for bookkeeping. My go-to is usually QBO, but a few things have shifted in the past two years that have me curious about what else is out there.
If you're on QBO don't think for a second you should switch on a whim - Stay there and carry on! It's a great software, you can get to $30-50M in revenue and more on it and be just fine.
I don't think anyone should move bookkeeping software without good reason, but what I LOVE about Count is that it's so easy, the AI actually follow rules and flags things for you without letting you get too far off base. Any it's pretty user friendly. I, a non-accountant/bookkeeper even figured it out with only a few emails to their support team.
If you're looking for a way to clean-up books, haven't had bookkeeping software, or are in the "DIY-ish" (no one should do their own bookkeeping without some accounting knowledge) space or just really want to see what it's all about check out Count! (their price is pretty great too, and they have payroll an invoicing)
If you want a very warm intro to the founders, reach out and I'll get you hooked up. and learn more about why it's great here: COUNT Overview .pdf
*This is not a paid or influenced sponsorship, I just really like the team and the software and I don't push anything I'm not 100% behind*
